QUESTIONS

  • I have a daughter with someone who has chosen drugs over her, there's been times where he did come to my house to visit her but during the visitation I realized he was still using even though he claimed he had been sober for the 2 months that my daughter had been born. Ever since then, he never really tried to get in touch with me to see her and she's now going to be a year old and I want to sever his rights. How would I go about doing this?
  • I am a grandmother of four children and their mother continues to take them to GA every year and bring them back every year. This year she is taking them for good, but they dont want to be there. I am looking for a way to get them back to MS, but i dont have money for a lawyer. She had the law on her side so I am asking if there is a way to get my grandchildren back home with me?
  • My husband would like to adopt my three children from a previous marriage. The issue is their father has been deported from the United States and is not allowed to return to this country. I have full legal and physical custody of the children which was given in our divorce prior to his deportation. my husband provides all support to them. How would we go about having my husband adopt the kids knowing that their father would not be able to sign any consents etc?
  • im renting a space gor my trailer i barely moved in a month ago and the landlord is charging me for three months can she do that charge me what the other owners left pending ?
  • I am moving to Florida in a couple months and my 16 year old son wants to go live with his grandmother what do I have to do so she can make decisions for him like medical decisions and decisions about school it is only for a year
  • If I am Never officialy served paperwork for a lawsuit against me, can the court still hold a hearing?
  • In our Divorce Decree, my ex is ordered to make payments to me every month for the Equity from our home and property. He has been late in his payments half of the time; sent a NSF check or only partial payment. I accepted the payment plan because he said he wanted to keep the house, and was unable to get a loan for the amount he would owe. The total amount he would owe me is only $21,000.00. Is there anything I can do to have the Decree changed so that he has to pay the balance to me in a lump-sum now?
  • How do I aquire an application for charges that occured in "Pima County" ?
  • Is this information up to date considering the major changes made by the legislature in 2014? For example, they stopped using the term "custody" and use only "parenting time now." What else has changed? What is the new statute number for reference?
  • Our landlord has decided to upgrade/renovate all apartments and says we have to move into another apartment either temporarily or permanently (our choice). This will cause inconvenience, time, energy, and money since some of us will need help moving furniture. Must they pay moving expenses, move our belongings for us, or compensate in any way? Can we terminate our lease (mine is up in a couple of months) because we are forced to move all of our belongings out? I'm thinking if I have to move everything out anyway, that perhaps I should just move altogether. The apartments are in good shape.... nothing wrong with them. What are my rights? How much notice do they have to give us? Btw.... I have housing assistance. Thank you
